2026 Route
O Gran Camiño 2026 will take place from April 14 to 18. Five days during which the peloton will ride through different landscapes of our region.
O Gran Camiño will kick off its fifth edition by returning to one of Galicia’s most iconic heritage landmarks, the Tower of Hercules, with an individual time trial to warm up the engines facing the untamed Atlantic.
In the second stage, the cycling peloton will travel from the inland plains of Lugo, A Terra Chá, to the northernmost coast of the region, A Mariña, finishing right by the beach.
The third stage of OGC 26 will link two towns with a deep cycling tradition, Carballo and Padrón, combining the three elements that define Galicia: inland, mountains, and coast.
The queen stage of OGC 26 will be the Ourense stage, between Xinzo and Xunqueira de Espadanedo, dominated by the mountains and an epic battle among the riders, with a finish never before seen in professional cycling.
At OGC, we want to keep the excitement alive until the very last minute. The final stage will therefore cross Galicia’s sporting province par excellence, Pontevedra, and will feature an epic uphill finish, facing the Atlantic and looking towards Portugal: Monte Trega.
O Gran Camiño 2026 thus consolidates its identity as a race that combines sporting challenge, innovation in its routes, and a strong connection to Galician territory. Across its five stages, the race will serve as a showcase for Galicia’s natural, cultural, and scenic heritage, from the inland areas to the coast.
Stay up to date on all the news that will be revealed in the coming weeks.
