Asisa, new sponsor of O Gran Camiño 2026.

O Gran Camiño and ASISA have formalized a sponsorship agreement that will link the insurance company with the Galician professional cycling race, with ASISA joining as a partner of Galicia’s leading cycling project.

The agreement was finalized following a meeting held in A Coruña, attended by Ezequiel Mosquera, General Director of O Gran Camiño; Fredy Velasco, Head of Marketing and Sponsorships at O Gran Camiño; José María Peinó, ASISA’s Regional Manager in Galicia; and Carlos Eiroa, Director of Advertising, Brand and Sponsorship at ASISA. During the meeting, the agreement between both entities was formally signed.

For O Gran Camiño, the addition of ASISA as a sponsor represents another step forward in consolidating the project and a source of pride in partnering with a brand firmly committed to health and healthy lifestyle habits. ASISA promotes a comprehensive vision of well-being and, under the slogan “Take care today to live better tomorrow,” seeks to encourage reflection on the future of health in a context of increasing life expectancy—a message that naturally aligns with the values of sport and cycling.

In this regard, the sponsorship is part of ASISA’s broader commitment to supporting organizations, events, sports clubs, and athletes in order to promote sports participation as an essential element of health care and overall well-being.

As part of the agreement, a conference jointly organized by O Gran Camiño and ASISA will be held in Santiago de Compostela on March 4. The event will revolve around the campaign “Take care today to live better tomorrow” and will include a round-table discussion focused on health, active ageing, and the importance of sport as a tool for achieving a higher quality of life.

O Gran Camiño 2026 will take place from April 14 to 18, travelling through the four Galician provinces. The race continues to establish itself as Galicia’s major professional cycling event, with growing national and international visibility. The event will combine top-level sporting competition, promotion of the territory—an intrinsic feature of OGC since its inception—and significant media impact.

This agreement strengthens O Gran Camiño’s positioning as an attractive platform for major brands and as a project that uses sport to generate social value, encourage healthy habits, and project the image of Galicia through professional cycling.
