O Gran Camiño will hold its sixth edition from 14 to 18 April 2027
O Gran Camiño now has dates for its next edition. The race will take place from 14 to 18 April 2027, retaining its mid-April slot for the second consecutive year and continuing a new chapter in its journey within the international cycling calendar.

The sixth edition will once again turn Galicia’s roads into the setting for five days of competition, with the aim of offering an appealing route and continuing to bring fans closer to some of the leading riders in the professional peloton.

Since its launch in 2022, O Gran Camiño has built an identity of its own, combining sporting challenges with the promotion of the region. Its roads, landscapes and heritage are part of a race that showcases Galicia to the world through cycling and counts its close connection with fans among its defining features.
A special edition in the Xacobeo Holy Year
The 2027 race will hold special significance as it coincides with the Xacobeo Holy Year, a celebration closely linked to the essence of O Gran Camiño. The race’s connection with the Camino de Santiago and the areas it passes through will strengthen its cultural and tourism dimensions, alongside its sporting appeal.

After five editions, the organisers are already preparing for the next instalment. Details of the route and participating teams will be announced at the official presentation, with full details of that event to be shared in the coming weeks.
