Camiño de Ourense
Located in the south of the region of Galicia, in northwest Spain, this land is rich in hot springs. There are many places where the traveler can discover the therapeutic properties of its water by bathing in open air.
Of its lush nature, in addition to the Allariz Biosphere Reserve, stands out the Natural Parks of Serra do Xurés, Invernadeiro and Serra da Enciña da Lastra.
Ribeira Sacra and Vía de la Plata are some of the routes that discover the cultural heritage of Ourense, as the monumental places of towns such as Ribadavia. Regarding gastronomy, the octopus and the gastronomic festivals dedicated to this product are famous. The province is also known for producing wonderful Ribeiro’s wines.
